The teveno technology increases the flow velocity of blood in the deep popliteal vein towards the heart. The teveno technology is also available as a Class I medical device. Please contact us for more information.

The teveno technology uses intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC).
With teveno, users can use this innovative technology whenever they are on their feet / by simply wearing the technology / all day / without the need for expensive machines or cumbersome compression stockings.

Using a special ultrasound test called colour-coded duplex sonography, it has been proven that the flow rate of blood in the deep popliteal vein towards the heart is increased by up to four times when pressure is applied to the heel cushion. This can significantly reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis.

Scientific results

The flow in the popliteal vein (deep leg vein system) was examined using colour-coded duplex sonography in 100 patients under the following examination conditions:
(Click here for more detailed scientific research on the teveno technology)

Blood flow while standing ( 3,8 cm / sec )10%
With heel load after toe stand ( 10,1 cm / sec )40%
Heel load with compression stocking Cl. 2 ( 11,9 cm / sec )45%
Heel load with teveno technology (24,4 cm / sec )80%
